I've always been handy with my hands...macrame, leather braiding and the like. Then I got a hairless cat and the attempts to knit began. A caveat: I'm no good at it. I'm also a writer (published with two books, now!) and a certain new manuscript required knowing the types of fabrics that were used in Scandinavia.
And so I found nalbinding.
It's beautiful. Complicated. The designs you can make from a single long thin needle and a length of thread is astounding. And after many years of doing it, now, I feel comfortable enough coming here to talk about it as I step into the world of officially selling my wares.
